Live Your Life So It’s A Story to Tell

In order to live the most fulfilled life, you have to experience all the different joys to life. It’s so easy to get stuck just living the everyday mundane tasks. The moments when life offers the occasion to experience something new, most people more often than not allow their conditioned thoughts of fear of failure and doubt to get in the way and keep them doing only what we know. This is known as the safe route, which sometimes is a beneficial route but not often if you want to live an exciting life.
There is a mode of thinking or a philosophy that I have used throughout my life. It has permitted me to live a fulfilled life by trying many different things. In basic terms, ‘Live your life so it’s a story to tell’. Fear can’t remain as the dominant driver of your life when you think like this; courageousness comes to the forefront. This way of thinking helps you to become an interesting person and enables you to live your best life.
As a result of living life for a story to tell, I have gained much wisdom to share through my many varied experiences. As someone who in their teenage existence was very shy and felt I had naught to contribute or talk about this was an vital philosophy for me to take on to alter the beliefs I had about myself and what I could offer. ‘Live your life so it’s a story to tell’ has been a massive engineer of courage for me. It makes me step up to the plate and just do it. As a result of this, I’ve produced stories of global adventures, dare-devil experiences, profitable investments, disastrous investments, entrepreneur activities, friendships straddling many countries, trying new foods, sports and activities and et cetera.
I’ve also found one of the most empowering things about this philosophy, is it assists you to get over those frustrating times in your life. When things go awry for me, I often think ‘Well I guess I’ve now got a story to tell.’ This is so empowering as it lets you get over it. You know the real account of the story is now terminated and you can move on to better things. With it you can turn the negative into a positive.
Live your best life and enrich it. The next time your faced with a decision or an opportunity to do something a little different, out of the box or your comfort zone, take control of your fears and doubts by saying “Why not? At least it will be a story to tell!”

What I like about blogs is the fact that they provoke a thought in my head. When that happens, I feel like I need to write a comment with the hope it can be valuable to other people.
