Spending, Choices & Change
Moods and attitudes effect how we spend money on the internet and even at the mall.
The sky’s the limit in what you might find. But, hey, be careful before using your resources. Feeling down and out, many take comfort in shopping. Once the shopping and buying moments have passed, the mood can shift to guilt and remorse. Please don’t fall short when it comes to responsible spending. We recommend you budget for food and diet products, and hold fast to that budget. Make a list of vitamins that you’ve discover will best benefit you and don’t be tempted for more unless there are some you can eliminate. Evaluate your facial and body conditions and avoid running from one product to another. When you find one that soothes and finishes, stick to it.
Just remember, if you place an order and feel guilty, you may be compromising your emotional well-being. If your order arrives and you ask, “What was I thinking?” Stop!
In so many areas of our lives, when we’re working on self-improvement, it all boils down to the choices we make. Of course, that’s an obvious statement, but think how regularly we make self-sabotaging choices! There’s an inner voice that’s trying to be heard.
How quickly we ignore it, silence it! Maybe you have a memory of that voice, that became so faint and little. There really is a self-coach there still trying to get your attention. It’s the one that signals, “That’s not a good idea, you really can’t skip this day to exercise, you skipped it yesterday.” Or the one that says, “You really do want to drop those pounds and eating one cookie really does matter, don’t eat it.” Or the inner coach trying to says, “Enough spending, stop already.”
You have goals or you would not be reading this page. Just think how things might change if you could make your own inner coach real and not just an inner voice you can quickly silence. Think first about the many kinds of real-life coaches. They have a name. They are experts in their field. They have a face, an audible voice; they are people you may converse with. For example, there’s the internet coach,a personal presence rooting you on, training you in exercise and eating habits. The same would be true for the coach at the gym who’s training you in exercise and body-building techniques. Such coaches are not so easy to ignore. There’s the life coach, financial planner, a bank seminar or debt reduction counselor. Again these are real people, experts you would find difficult to ignore. And let’s not forget the nutritionist or food counselor who weighs you with each visit. Their words motivate and, propel you forward.

Sound advice from the experts is imperative as you launch new practices that impact health and well-being. Once you do gain the necessary knowledge and expertise in exercising or body building safely and effectively, or in choosing the right foods to eat in order to lose weight and remain healthy, or in setting up a budget, the question becomes “How can I really sustain these choices?” Think about it. Through practice, you can become your my own ongoing personal coach by using your inner voice. It’s possible to make it equally as important and reliable as a real life one. The best coach motivates; the best coach encourages; the best coach teaches and enhances skill development. Once you’ve assimilated sound advice from the experts, to become your own coach you give sound to the inner voice. Remove the silence. Let it reverberate. Let it resonate. Doing so takes practice. There is truth to the need to practice and practice again. Practice at letting the inner voice finish the thought without interruption. Quit distracting. Stop. Avoid taking action until you listen.
When the voice of the inner coach is vying for your attention, sit down and breathe, stay seated and breathe deeply feeling the rise and fall of the gut. Practice putting pen to paper. Write the words of the inner voice and don’t stop with just one attempt. Keep writing and write again next time. Plan your next step. Giving voice to the silenced thoughts takes effort. It’s a habit we’ve not cultivated. Change can happen and change is good. Let the words of the inner voice come. Coach yourself with gentleness and be heard.
